We went to see Despicable Me as a family and I LOVED it. Don't think less of me but I didn't think Toy Story 3 was that great. It had a sweet ending but that's about it. I loved everything about Despicable Me and they even made a character that was JUST LIKE Cecily so it made it extra fun to watch. We even survived the movie with Asher and Fiona! Lots of popcorn, strawberry milk and candy but Chris and I both got to see the whole movie.
We went and ate at Golden Corral. It was the biggest waste of money in the world. Chris and I both got grossed out and vowed never to eat at a buffet again. NEVER.
We rushed home and opened presents and had more cupcakes. It was delightful and Cecily actually liked her presents!

Asher woke up and had a HUGE reaction to a bug bite he got. This picture doesn't even do it justice just how big it was. It was like the curviness of half a softball under his skin.
I have spiders everywhere and I HATE IT! I have even been dreaming about spiders all week and finding them all over me. I looked up what it means and it says "fortune is in my future". REALLY?! If I didn't wake up feeling so disgusting I would be excited to dream about spiders then.
I loved Dispicable Me over Toy Story too! and was thinking of Cecily the entire time! I was imagining her sing that unicorn song on the toilet....."i love unicorns i love unicorns even though they aren't real, but they are real so i have one and i pet it..." haha I kept hitting Chase and saying "CECILY!" the entire movie. He was probably getting a little sick of it.

Yay her smile is back! She is such a pretty girl and I can't believe how fast kids grow! Aubrey saw Despicable Me and was telling me all about the little girl in the movie being "just like Cecily" while she was here. Now I need to grab Mitch and go see for myself!

ReplyDeleteOK, that's just crazy because after Chris told me you were going to Golden Corral, we were headed out to eat that night and ended up there ourselves. We sat across from a huge (think blueberry with arms and legs) lady who was reading a romance novel and shoving plate after plate into her face. I wasn't even that hungry but after paying $12.50 for MY dinner alone I forced down two trips to the spread. Our kids loved it, but me and Olen both left feeling disgusted with ourselves. Well...didn't mean to make that so long. Ha!
Happy late birthday to Cecily. I love the picture of her with the birthday crown. I'm sending you all of my butterfly wings because I have a bajillion crowns just like that in the set.
That spider bite is insane!! Is Asher ok now?
She is so cute! I love her glasses:) That spider bite looks so painful, poor guy! Yeah we have spiders everywhere in Mexico too, and I have dreams all the time that spiders are crawling all over me! Aghhh, creapy!

ReplyDeleteFinally I have found someone out there that feels the same way about TS3 as I do. It was ok, but doesnt hold a candle to the originals, UP or Wall-E. I saw the little girl from Despicable me in a commercial and thought she must be Cec's little twin. Can't wait to see all of you next month!
