For Chelsea and everyone else who couldn't make it...

We celebrated Fiona turning one with a swim/treats party at my parents house. We decided to only serve desserts and had jars of candy, and puppy chow, and apple straws. With Shrek and Princess Fiona as the theme we made heavenly dirt but made the vanilla green to make it look like a swamp. And a variety of the addicting cake balls.

We made a mini cake for Fiona to eat and she took her time at first but then things got a little messy.

Then Asher split his lip open and the party was over. He's ok. We decided not to go get stitches and it looks like it's healing just fine.

Fiona is thinking about walking. She'll stand up from a bear crawl, and she climbs up and down the stairs but not much interest in walking yet. Below is Fiona's video I made for her. It combines birth all the way to turning one. Looking through all her pictures she's pretty much an accessory to our crazy family. She adds so much joy and love to our random bunch I'm so glad she came to us. My little colorado-ogre baby girl.
